Smaller images. A simple workflow.
Select images from Photos or Files, choose a target file size, and scroll down to compress, save and share—all on one screen.
This guide covers version 1.1. Batch compression and English app text are features of version 1.1.
01 / GET STARTED
Compress one image or a batch of up to 10 images. The target size applies to each image, not to the combined batch.
If you select more than 10 images in Files, the app asks you to select no more than 10. If some images cannot be read, check the selection before compressing.
02 / TARGET SIZE
The default target is 1 MB per image. The app adjusts JPEG quality and, when needed, image dimensions to fit the selected target. Compressed images use JPEG format.
After compression, you can see each image’s original size, compressed size and percentage reduction. The app may be unable to meet a target for some images; check the completion count and results.
03 / SAVE & SHARE
Tap Save to Photos to save all successfully compressed images in the current results. Allow the app to add photos when iOS asks for permission.
Tap Share to open the iOS share sheet with all successfully compressed JPEG files. Available apps and destinations depend on your device.
04 / FAQ
No. Select up to 10 images per batch. For more images, save or share the current results first, then choose another batch.
No. A 500 KB target, for example, applies to each individual image.
In iPhone Settings, open the app’s photo permissions and allow adding photos. Then return to the app and try Save to Photos again.
No. The app creates compressed copies. It does not delete or overwrite the original images.
They can. Compression adjusts JPEG quality and may reduce dimensions. A smaller target can mean more visible changes. Check the result before using it. The app does not guarantee a smaller file than the original.
Try selecting the image again from Photos or Files, or choose a larger target size. Check how many images completed successfully. Save or share the available results before selecting a new batch.
Compression runs on your device. Your selected images are not uploaded to the developer’s servers for compression. The app uses Google AdMob for advertising, which may process information separately as described in the privacy policy.
The app includes full-screen ads after some compression operations. Batch compression of 2–10 images triggers one ad display attempt after processing, provided at least one image succeeds. Single-image compression uses the stored compression-operation counter and triggers an ad when it reaches a multiple of three. Batches also count as one operation. Ads may not appear if they cannot be loaded.
This guide describes version 1.1. Check your installed version and whether an update is available on the App Store.
